The Roseland Academy is a consistently high-performing school “Where Everyone Succeeds”.

In 2016 The Roseland Academy was in the top 200 schools nationally. In 2017 The Roseland Academy was in the top 100 schools nationally. Our Ofsted inspection in September 2017 awarded us Outstanding in all areas.

School Secretary | Permanent/Term Time/Part-Time | Grade E – Salary Range £15,257 – £17,074pa (reduced pro-rata to £7,439 – £8,325) 21.25 hours per week (12.00 – 4.15pm), term time (38 weeks) plus an additional 5 inset days and overtime as required.

The Roseland Multi-Academy Trust currently consists of one secondary and two small primary schools. The Trust’s vision is “Where Everyone Succeeds” and we put our staff at the heart of everything we do to create a team spirit in our highly successful schools.

A School Secretary is required to work within the busy reception office at The Roseland Academy. The reception office is the central hub for staff and students alike to visit with a broad range of requests and queries. You will be part of a team who ensures administrative functions are fully resourced and covered.
The successful candidate must be totally reliable, demonstrate excellent time keeping, be adept at managing competing priorities and work well under pressure. This role requires the ability to maintain confidentiality. You will undertake a wide range of tasks and must be approachable and sensitive to the needs of all students, as well as being a team player who takes an interest in the range of work undertaken by the Trust and be happy to be part of a highly successful school and Trust.

Farm Technician | Part-Time Weekends, School Holidays & Bank Holidays (2 hours each day) | Grade B – £7.83 per hour (increasing in April 2019)

The Roseland Multi-Academy Trust currently consists of one secondary and two small primary schools. The Trust’s vision is “Where Everyone Succeeds” and we put our staff at the heart of everything we do to create a team spirit in our highly successful schools.

An additional technician is required to work on our small school farm.  Our animals need to be cared for 365 days a year and the post-holder needs to be reliable, trustworthy and conscientious.  During term time, Monday to Friday, the care of our animals is covered by our Animal Care Teaching Practitioner and a further Farm Technician.

During weekends, school and bank holidays you will be required to share the responsibility for the care of our animals with our current Farm Technician.  This role will be for every other weekend and some school holidays, including some bank holidays.  The total number of hours you will be required each year is approximately 190 hours (2 hours each day worked) and payment for bank holidays will be double time.

Tasks will include duties such as feeding, cleaning out animal pens and cages and caring for animals and produce. This role will also involve working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions so a flexible approach is necessary with regard to duties.  Your holidays will be covered by school staff.

Early years/KS1 Teaching Assistant | Permanent/Term Time | Grade D

The Trustees of The Roseland Multi Academy Trust are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support teaching, learning and well-being within a mixed aged KS1/Early Years class. Applicants must have enthusiasm, energy and a commitment to the learning experiences of the whole child. The ideal candidate will have experience of establishing successful learning relationships with a variety of children at KS1 and Early Years age. A commitment to outdoor learning and physical development is also desirable. Previous experience in the field is desirable, though applications are welcomed from people with commitment and aptitude who wish to work in this area. Start Date Monday 25th February 2019
